Refund Policy

Short version. Honest AI Guide does not currently sell paid products directly. If we ever do, a 30-day money-back guarantee will apply. Tools you buy from third-party vendors via our affiliate links are governed by each vendor's own refund policy.
1. Direct purchases from Honest AI Guide
The Site is free to read. The newsletter is free. We do not currently sell any paid product directly on honestaiguide.com.
If we ever launch a paid product (for example, a premium research report or a paid course), this is the policy that will apply: 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. You email admin@honestaiguide.com from the email address you used at checkout, ask for a refund, and we send the funds back to your original payment method inside 5 to 7 business days through Stripe.
2. Purchases through affiliate links
Many tools we review (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Jasper, Notion AI, and others) offer their own free trials, money-back periods, and refund processes. When you click an affiliate link on this site and buy a tool, the contract is between you and that vendor. We have no ability to issue refunds for purchases made on a vendor's site.
Most major AI software vendors offer either a free tier, a free trial, or a refund window of 7 to 30 days. We try to flag the refund terms in each review. If we got something wrong or the vendor changed their policy, write to admin@honestaiguide.com and we'll update the article.
3. Newsletter unsubscribe
Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. If you can't find it or it's not working, email admin@honestaiguide.com and we'll remove you the same business day.
4. How vendor refunds typically work (general guidance)
- Most subscription AI tools: 7-day or 14-day money-back window. You request the refund inside the vendor's billing portal.
- Annual plans: usually pro-rated or refunded inside the first 30 days, then non-refundable.
- Free trials that converted to paid: most vendors will refund the first paid charge if you ask within a few days.
- Chargebacks: filing a chargeback should be your last resort, after the vendor has refused a reasonable request.
